Conflict Securities Advisory Group, Inc.

Conflict Securities Advisory Group, Inc. (CSAG) is a Washington, DC-based independent research provider that specializes in identifying and assessing publicly traded companies that have business activities in or with Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Libya prior to its removal in 2006 from the U.S. State Department’s list of terrorist-sponsoring states. To our knowledge, CSAG's Global Security Risk Monitor online database of U.S. and non-U.S. public companies with such business ties is the only one of its kind.

CSAG was founded in October 2001 to provide impartial risk assessment tools and services that help our clients address global security-related risk factors in the markets. Drawing on the professional experience of CSAG's senior staff, the company is uniquely equipped to provide insightful analysis regarding the relationship between global security issues and prospects for corporate share values and reputations.

As the intersection between security issues and the global economy has taken on greater prominence, CSAG has expanded its product offerings to include information tools and advisory services for a range of clients within the financial services industry and corporate sector as well as the government and policy community. Specifically, our custom research and screening capabilities are designed to help our clients formulate and implement cost-effective policies and business solutions that meet their individual objectives.

CSAG has also developed more retail-oriented applications of our data in order to service the growing demand for Terror-Free investment portfolios. Specifically, as more and more individual investors and pension systems seek to ensure that their portfolios exclude companies that do business in terrorist-sponsoring states, CSAG's data has underpinned the launch of Terror-Free and Sudan-free mutual funds, separate investment accounts and indices.

CSAG is proud to be a leader in the field of global security risk management and would value discussing ways in which we can help your firm, organization, agency or system achieve its business or policy goals.

CSAG's research is increasingly employed by asset management firms to comply with new Terror-Free investment restrictions and by some firms that are offering Terror-Free or Sudan-free retail products.
